VALHEIM MOD MANAGER — for macOS 13 or newer (Apple Silicon or Intel)

A simple mod manager for Valheim on the Mac: browse Thunderstore, keep
separate mod profiles (one per server, say), share profiles with friends
by code, and start the game with mods. Starting Valheim from Steam as
usual still plays it unmodded.

INSTALL
1. Drag "Valheim Mod Manager" into your Applications folder.
2. Double-click it. macOS will say it can't verify the developer
(it's a free, home-made app, not from the App Store). Click Done.
3. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to
Security, and click "Open Anyway" next to Valheim Mod Manager.
Enter your password, then click Open. You only do this once.
(On macOS 14 or older you can instead right-click the app > Open.)

If it says the app "is damaged": open Terminal, type
       xattr -cr /Applications/Valheim\ Mod\ Manager.app
press Return, then open the app again.

USE
- Profiles (left): each has its own mods and settings. Right-click a
profile to rename, duplicate, share or delete it.
- Browse: search Thunderstore and click Add. Dependencies are added
  automatically.
- Installed: switch mods off without removing them, update, or remove.
- Share Code: gives you a code friends paste into Import Code to get
the exact same mods, versions and config. Works with r2modman codes
  too.
- Play Modded: starts Steam if needed, then Valheim with the selected
  profile's mods.

Valheim must be installed through Steam. If the app can't find it,
click "Change" at the top right and pick your Valheim folder
(Steam > right-click Valheim > Manage > Browse local files).

Mods come from Thunderstore (thunderstore.io) and are made by their
authors. This app isn't affiliated with Iron Gate, Coffee Stain or
Thunderstore.
